Enterek for the Windows 10
Do you still remember this guy in a fancy outfit? His name is Enterek and he tries to teach kids the multiplication table. So far, he has done this on Android and iOS phones, and now he has moved to Windows 10 PCs.
The pandemic and remote learning posed challenges not only for adults, but also for children. Kids, whether they like it or not, spend several hours a day in front of computers – including those from the youngest classes. One of the most burdensome school activities in the youngest grades is undoubtedly learning the multiplication table – let’s be honest, remembering “fascinating” rows of numbers from a table on a piece of paper, or from the so-called Pythagorean tube is not much exciting. The multiplication table with Enterek tries to break this well-known pattern of “boredom” – it is an application addressed mainly to students of grades 1-3 of primary school, supporting the learning of the multiplication table. The host in the application is a nice, animated character called Enterek, who gradually introduces the youngest to the world of the multiplication table by means of interactive games and activities, appropriately encouraging and motivating children to try to learn.
So far, Enterek was mainly intended for a quick revision session on the way to school – on the bus or tram – on a smartphone. Now, since kids have to spend time in front of computers anyway, i have ported it to Windows 10 PCs. I hope that it will make it pleasant and facilitate remote learning for the youngest. The application does not display ads and does not collect any data.
You can download the application for free from the Microsoft Store
